The university faculty also communicates research and scientific information, through various national, regional and international workshops, seminars and conferences. The recent ones included the Leadership Conference in Ghana, 5th International Interdisciplinary Research Conference at Mount Kenya University, Thika from October 17th - 19th, 2018 - an annual conference organized by a consortium of University of Eldoret, Kyambogo University (Uganda), Mount Kenya University (Kenya) and Ochukuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (Nigeria). A delegation of about 22 students and 12 staff participated in the conference.

The university also participated in the RUFORUM Biennial Conference which was held in Nairobi from October 22nd –26th, 2018. Thirty Scholars and students from the University of Eldoret presented oral and several poster presentations. The conference also offered several training and consultative fora for Deans, Vice Chancellors, and postgraduate students among others.

The University will also be represented at the International Sustainable Blue Economy Conference in Nairobi from 26th to 28th November, 2018 where key note addresses, research papers and an exhibition will be presented at the Science and Research Symposium.
