Corruption Sensitization Workshop

On June 13th, 2017, Heads of Quality Units of the University of Eldoret attended a Corruption Sensitization Workshop at the Education Complex. The workshop, organized through the Directorate of Strategic Planning and Performance Contracting was hosted by the Corruption Prevention Committee.

As part of the University’s performance contract for the year 2016/2017 on corruption eradication, the Committee is to build capacity for anti-corruption by sensitizing staff on various areas of corruption eradication.

The workshop was officially opened by Prof. Vincent Sudoi, Dean of the School of Environmental Studies on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor. The training focused on The Concept of Corruption and the Corruption Prevention Strategies. Officers from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission - MS Cyprine Omogi and Mr. Stephen Kotutwa.
