Biography

Dr. Paul Okelo Odwori has Ph.D (Agricultural Economics and Resource Management), Moi University; M.Phil. (Forestry Economics and Management), Moi University; and B.Sc. Forestry, Moi University.

Dr. Paul Okelo Odwori is a Senior Lecturer of Natural Resources Economics. He has served University of Eldoret and earlier Moi University since 2007 as Lecturer and researcher in the areas of Natural Resource Economics (Economics of Forest resources, Agricultural resources, Fisheries resources and Wildlife resources); Economics (Microeconomics & Macroeconomics); Project Appraisal; and Modelling Systems.

Dr, Odwori is also a FELLOW OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION ACADEMY (Recognition reference: 37190) after undertaking a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice, York St John University, England, United Kingdom (2009).

Currently Dr. Odwori is also an ISO 9001:2015 Internal Quality Auditor of UoE and Chairman – Alcohol and Drug Abuse (ADA) Prevention Committee of UoE. Previously Dr. Odwori had successfully served as Head, Department of Business Management (UoE) from August 2013 to September 2014.

As Dean, School of Economics, Dr. Odwori’s vision is to make School of Economics a Centre of Excellence in Training and Research in Economics.
