University of Eldoret conducted its 2019/2020 Performance Contract negotiation at the Kisumu National Polytechnic on 20th and 27th September 2019. The FY 2019/2020 PC negotiation which was conducted on 20th September 2019 was led by a negotiator from the Ministry of Education led by Mr. Philip Kinara who took through the team from the University on the negotiation process in relation to the provided 16th cycle performance contracts as per the guidelines from the Ministry of Education. The negotiation which ended successfully saw the documents signed by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Teresa Akenga awaiting vetting.
Similarly, on 27th September 2019, a team from University went to Kisumu to conduct the FY 2019/2020 PC vetting at Kisumu Hotel. The vetting was conducted by Mr. Josiah Munyua from the Public Service Management Unit, who took the team from the University of Eldoret through the vetting process in consideration of the signed negotiated Performance Contract document. The vetting was successfully done and the vetted Performance Contract document was signed by the vetting personnel, Mr. Josiah Munyua and the Chairman of Council Dr. David Ojakaa, making the vetted Performance Contract ready for cascading to the respective implementers. Currently, the Performance Contract document is being prepared for Cascading to the relevant implementers.
