Prof. Cheruiyot who takes over the reign from Prof. Wilson K. Ng’etich who has been acting as the Vice-Chancellor from 9th June 2023 to date, will be the Second Vice-Chancellor in the History of the University.
The new Vice-Chancellor comes into office with vast of leadership and academic prowess, having served in various leadership positions before his appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of University of Eldoret. He also brings on broad a wealth of management and academic experience achieved as a Professor of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), sustainability and Strategy at Moi University.
